To Our Loyal Fans,

Almost exactly 25 years ago Ronni and I discovered the Willakenzie Estate property in Yamhill, Oregon and we fell in love with it.  Since we made our first wines in 1995 (Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Aliette, and Pierre Leon) we have continued to add new bottlings which reflect the site on which the grapes are grown here.

We started our Cellar Club program in 1996 at a time when wine clubs and direct-to-consumer programs were not common in the Willamette Valley and many of you have been loyal customers ever since.  For that, we cannot thank you enough.

It is now time for Ronni and me to move into the next phase of our lives. We have made the decision to sell the winery to the Jackson Family.  We believe that with their strong commitment to Oregon, their depth of knowledge, resources and their shared values with WillaKenzie, the Jackson Family is well-equipped to take the Estate to the next step and carry out our legacy.

The Hospitality and Club staff that you have known and enjoyed throughout the years will keep providing you the exceptional service that you have expected and they have always delivered.  All of the grapes have been picked and the 2016 harvest looks great!

Let’s drink to the future.

Merci et à bientôt,

Bernard Lacroute
