THE BASICS
Q. How do I reorder wine in my shipment?
A. Please contact the Tasting Room at (503) 662-3280 ext. 46 or toll-free at  1 (888)953-9463 ext. 46, or at cellarclub@willakenzie.com.

Q. How many shipments per year?
A. 4

Q. How many bottles come in a shipment?
A. 3

Q. I received a 12-month membership as a gift.  How does it work?
A. You will be sent four consecutive shipments of 3 bottles each, during the course of 12 months.

Q. What is the cost of each shipment?
A. The cost of the wine for each shipment averages $100 plus shipping & handling, and tax depending on your state.



SHIPPING & PICKING UP
Q. What happens if I am not home to receive my wine shipment?
A. Returned shipments, and shipments which require a redirect (change of address en-route) will incur a $15 fee from the winery. Returned shipments will also be reshipped at the member's expense.

Q. Can I change the scheduled ship date ahead of time?
A. Yes, we are happy to make necessary arrangements.

Q. Can I pick-up at the winery?
A. Yes, in the tasting room, open daily.

Q. Can I have my wine shipped to different addresses?
A. Yes, please notify us at least one week prior to shipment.

Q. How many shipments per year?
A. 4

Q. How often do you ship me wine?
A. We ship 3 bottles of red wine 4 times per year (February, May, September & November).  Of course, you may always order additional wine on our website, or by phone or email, and we can ship it to you at your convenience.

Q. I travel frequently. What are my options?
A. We can usually accommodate you if you need to change your shipping date.  We can also hold your wine at the winery for up to 6 months and ship it to you twice a year.

Q. If I choose to pick up my wine at WillaKenzie, how long will you hold it?
A. We can hold it for you to pick up at the winery within 6 months.

Q. Once I sign up, how long does it take to get my first wine shipment?
A. When you sign-up you will be given the choice to purchase the last shipment available (the most recent selection) or begin with the next upcoming shipment. Ship date will depend on this decision.

Q. When do your shipments go out?
A. For 2012: February 6, May 7, September 10, November 12

Q. What happens if the weather is bad?
A. We will hold the shipment and notify you.

Q. What are my shipping options?
A. We use UPS or FedEx for all shipments, the options include winery pick-up, ground, 3 day air, 2 day air, and overnight.



PAYMENT
Q. Do you accept checks?
A. Yes, for pre-paid memberships only.

Q. Does it cost anything to sign-up?
A. No, there is no sign-up fee.

Q. How do I update my credit card information?

Q. What happens if my credit card expires?
A. If you do not contact us first, then we will contact you via email & phone to update the information.

Q. What types of payment do you take?
A. We take debit & credit cards from VISA, Mastercard & American Express.

Q. What is the cost of each shipment?
A. The cost of the wine for each shipment averages $100 plus tax and shipping.

Q. When will I be charged for my first shipment?
A. We will charge your account approximately 1 week prior to the upcoming shipment (February, May, September, November).



DISCOUNTS
Q. Do I get a discount on other wines?
A. Yes, we offer Cellar Club pricing on all wines, all year:  15-30% off retail.

Q. What sort of discounts do you offer your wine club members?
A. Our members receive a discount of 15-30% off the retail price of the wine, in addition to limited-time specials from 20-45% off!



EVENTS
Q. Please explain your Cellar Club wine events.
A. We put on several fun events every year for our Cellar Club members.  Some are exclusive to our members, such as the Day in the Vineyard, and at others you may bring guests.  Our events feature catered food and wine pairing, live music, and other delights.  Some events have a fee, and others are free.

Q. What is Day in the Vineyard?
A. This is a Members Only event, held on the grounds of WillaKenzie Estate each August.  It is a chance to learn about different aspects of winemaking through interesting seminars led by our team of experts.  It also features wine and food pairing, and lunch al fresco at the top of the vineyards.

Q. Can I buy older vintages of my favorite WillaKenzie wine?
A. Once a year we open up our cellars and provide library wine for sale to our Cellar Club members.



VISITING
Q. Can I visit the winery anytime?
A. Yes, we are open every day, except for major holidays.

Q. Can I bring my friends with me?
A. Yes, up to four of your friends may join you for a free wine tasting flight in our Tasting Room.

Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Leashed dogs are welcome on the winery grounds, but not in the tasting room.

Q. Can I bring children to the winery?
A. Children are permitted in the winery tasting room, although other areas of the facility are off-limits due to safety hazards.  Please call ahead if you have questions about bringing children to special events.



MEMBERSHIP
Q. How do I cancel my membership?

Q. If I cancel my membership can I rejoin at a later time?
A. Yes

MISC.
Q. What if I prefer white wines in the Summer?
A. It is possible to make special requests for the wine shipments; however, the wines would be sent 1-2 weeks later, and there will be a special handling charge.

Q. Is your Cellar Club the same as a wine club?
A. Essentially yes, although we strive to make the WillaKenzie Cellar Club unique and fun instead of just another wine club.

Q. I’m making a special dinner for some friends.  How would I figure out which WillaKenzie wines would pair the best?
A. We’re happy to assist you with wine pairing ideas.  The tasting notes found on our website have food pairing suggestions, and you are also welcome to call us for our input.  We love to talk about wine and food!

Q. How long should I hold onto my wine before drinking it?
A. That depends upon the type of wine and the vintage.  We have an updated Vintage Chart posted on our website for referral.

Q. I see you use the Riedel OR Pinot Noir glasses in your tasting room.  Does glassware really make a difference?
A. Absolutely!  The thin edge and varietal-specific shape of a high-quality wineglass makes a very different tasting experience.  Try it yourself at home with a few different glasses.
