We thought it would be fun to get the current-favorite food pairings from each full-time staff member here at WillaKenzie. They were not prompted with anything other than "give me your current fav". Interestingly, the group had quite the array of favorites, with Emery being this season's popular choice.


Bernard Lacroute - Proprietor
Duck breast sliced thin on a Chinese bun with hoisin sauce,
garnished with scallions and cilantro.

Wild salmon cooked in BBQ on Cedar plank, with grilled vegetables.
Paired with 2010 Pinot Noir Aliette


Gabrielle Beaupre - Assistant Winemaker
Cheese platter and charcuteries.
Paired with 2010 Gamay Noir and good friends!


Annie Bailey - Enologist
Curried chickpeas.
Paired with 2011 Blanc de Pinots!

A steak so rare it’s mooing or beef bourguignon.
Paired with 2010 Terres Basses

Grilled lamb Sloulaki, grilled Walla Walla sweet onion and Tzatziki.

Rib steak on the grill, roasted baby potatoes, braised kale with blue cheese and fruit chttney on the side.
