This deep, intensely aromatic Pinot hails from the steepest slope of our Estate. The palate explodes with a complex array of blue and black fruits and a rich, round mouthfeel.

Chocolate, walnut, coffee, tobacco, chamomile tea, dried flowers, black truffle, Chinese Five-Spice 


A dense core, with a rich, round mouthfeel and remarkable length.

At The Table 

This muscular, brooding Pinot Noir calls for roast or grilled rack of lamb (or a similarly gamey meat). When it comes to vegetarian fare, think risotto with wild mushrooms or black truffles.


A traditional Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass with a round bowl will convey this varietal’s profound aromatics and structural characteristics.

Serving and Cellar 

Serve at cellar temperature (55- 60 ̊F). Triple Black Slopes will benefit initially from a decant. Cellar from five to fifteen years for maximum enjoyment.

In the Vineyard 

Triple Black Slopes is the steepest vineyard on our estate, and the most challenging to farm with some sections exhibiting a 45-degree slope. This south-facing vineyard is comprised of four distinct blocks, separated from one another by canyons filled with blackberries and quail.

Winemaker Hand 

Hand-picked and sorted; Destemmed with open rollers to allow partial whole berry fermentation; Five to seven-day cold soak; Twice daily punch downs; 25 days skin contact. Aged 14 months in 50% new French oak barrels
