Named after our founder’s sister, the Gisèle Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit from our WillaKenzie and Jory Hills vineyards--a true tribute to the diversity of our Estate. The wine displays tremendous fruit intensity, reflective of the long, warm, dry 2015 growing season.


Fruit-forward yet balanced; bright and juicy red raspberry, black cherry and plum

Spice, Vegetable, Mineral 

Spice (pepper, anise), mountain flowers, forest floor, mushroom and a hint of smoke


Classically “Oregundian”: ethereal and elegant like a red burgundy, but approachable young like its new world peers; round, polished mouthfeel with a long, velvety finish.

At The Table 

This Pinot Noir pairs perfectly with salmon, roasted poultry and pork loin. Some less conventional pairing ideas include skirt steak tacos or lamb burgers with tzatziki. 


A traditional Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass with a round bowl will convey this varietal’s profound aromatics and structural characteristics. 

Serving and Cellar 

Though this wine can be cellared from five to seven years, we recommend serving at 55°. Can be cellared up to five to seven years, but we recommend opening today for immediate enjoyment.

Clonal Composition 


In the Vineyard 

Produced from sustainably-farmed, estate-grown grapes and almost exclusively dry-farmed vines. A 40/60 blend of fruit from our Jory Hills (Jory soils) and WillaKenzie Estate vineyards (WillaKenzie soils).

Winemaker Hand 

Hand-picked and sorted; Destemmed, with open rollers to allow partial whole berry fermentation; Five to seven-day cold soak; Twice daily punch downs; Approximately 20 days of skin contact. Aged 10 months in French oak barrels (20% new).
