Fowl and farm are all Emery’s friends at the table. Look to grilled quail, rack of lamb and all red fruits as accompaniments, including pomegranates, dried cherries, figs and persimmons.
A traditional Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass with a round bowl will convey this varietal’s profound aromatics and structural characteristics.
Serve at cellar temperature 55 – 60 ̊F. Emery Pinot Noir will benefit initially from a decant. Cellar from five to fifteen years for maximum enjoyment.
Named for our founder’s grandfather, Emery is situated near the top of our estate, 600-700 feet in elevation. The site’s topsoil layer is the deepest on the estate, resulting in vigorous vines and wines notable for grace, finesse and depth.
Hand-picked and hand-sorted. Aged 19 months in 50% new French oak barrels.
