Serving TipsWine Facts Emery Pinot Noir | WillaKenzie Estate

Emery’s elevation and southeast slope show through in this wine’s complex, savory aromas and silky tannins.

Red & blue high-toned fruits: fresh raspberry and orange peel

Spice & Mineral

Earl Grey tea and baking spice

A finesse driven palate offers purity, depth and great length.

At The Table

Fowl and farm are all Emery’s friends at the table. Look to grilled quail, rack of lamb and all red fruits as accompaniments, including pomegranates, dried cherries, figs and persimmons.

A traditional Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass with a round bowl will convey this varietal’s profound aromatics and structural characteristics.

Serving and Cellar

Serve at cellar temperature 55 – 60 ̊F. Emery Pinot Noir will benefit initially from a decant. Cellar from five to fifteen years for maximum enjoyment.

In the Vineyard

Named for our founder’s grandfather, Emery is situated near the top of our estate, 600-700 feet in elevation. The site’s topsoil layer is the deepest on the estate, resulting in vigorous vines and wines notable for grace, finesse and depth.

Winemaker Hand

Hand-picked and hand-sorted. Aged 19 months in French oak barrels.
