Fowl and farm are all Emery’s friends at the table. Look to grilled quail, rack of lamb and all red fruits as accompaniments, including pomegranates, dried cherries, figs and persimmons.
A traditional Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass with a round bowl will convey this varietal’s profound aromatics and structural characteristics.
Serve at cellar temperature 55 – 60 ̊F.
With an elevation ranging from 600' to 730', the site's combination of exposure, soils and elevation result in a harmonious growing environment for the grapevines. As a result, Pinot Noirs from Emery are beautifully balanced, complex and offer tremendous depth.
Grapes were harvested and sorted by hand between October 5th-7th, 2017. The grapes were fermented on their skin for approximately three weeks before being transferred to French oak barrels.
