$160.00

Emery sits upon a beautifully exposed, central ridgeline near the crest of the WillaKenzie Estate.

Descriptors
Fruit

Red & blue high-toned fruits. Black cherry

Spice & Mineral

Lilac and forest floor

Texture/Structure

Beautifully balanced, complex and offers tremendous depth.

At The Table

Fowl and farm are all Emery’s friends at the table. Look to grilled quail, rack of lamb and all red fruits as accompaniments, including pomegranates, dried cherries, figs and persimmons.

Glassware

A traditional Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass with a round bowl will convey this varietal’s profound aromatics and structural characteristics.

Serving and Cellar

Serve at cellar temperature 55 – 60 ̊F.

In the Vineyard

With an elevation ranging from 600' to 730', the site's combination of exposure, soils and elevation result in a harmonious growing environment for the grapevines. As a result, Pinot Noirs from Emery are beautifully balanced, complex and offer tremendous depth.

Winemaker Hand

Grapes were harvested and sorted by hand between October 5th-7th, 2017. The grapes were fermented on their skin for approximately three weeks before being transferred to French oak barrels.
