Terres Basses
- Pinot Noir
- Yamhill-Carlton
- 750 ml
Terres Basses in French means ‘low lands’ and that is precisely where it is located on our Estate. Due to its low elevation and unique terroir, Terres Basses encourages early ripening and produces small berries with thick skins. Unlike the rest of our Estate, the grapevines in Terres Basses perch in clay soil called Hazelair, which result in a wine that is very dark, rich, and powerful.
Alcohol: 13.6% | pH: 3.58 | TA: 5.6 g/L
Composition: 100% Dijon Clone 115
This classic Pinot Noir offers true transparency of place. Complex aromas of dark fruit, grilled game, lavender, and hints of holiday spice carry through seamlessly to an energetic and focused palate. The tannins are refined and the finish has great length.
