Pierre Léon

Pierre Léon

Named after our founder’s father, Pierre Léon was one of the first vineyard designate Pinot Noirs produced at WillaKenzie Estate. This wine offers concentrated dark fruit and nuanced savory notes—the more masculine side of our winery.

Black and red fruit aromas: black cherry, black raspberry, cassis, and pomegranate.

Spice, Vegetable, Mineral

Anise, vanilla and cloves on the nose, and a touch of smoke and peat on the finish.

At The Table

This distinguished Pinot will pair well with a variety of dishes whatever the season: grilled pork chops with peaches, roasted game birds, venison and bison burgers.

A traditional Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass with a round bowl will convey this varietal’s profound aromatics and structural characteristics.

Serving and Cellar

Serve at cellar temperature 55 – 60 ̊F. We suggest opening and decanting before drinking. Enjoy this wine now through 2024.
