Pierre Léon Magnum

Pierre Léon Magnum

Call for availability

Named after our founder’s father, Pierre Léon was one of the first vineyard designate Pinot Noirs produced at WillaKenzie Estate. This wine offers concentrated dark fruit and nuanced savory notes—the more masculine side of our winery.

Blue and dark fruit characteristics.

Spice, Vegetable, Mineral

Hints of cedar, forest floor and a dash of minerality.

A palate that offers power, tension, balanced acidity and great length.

At The Table

This distinguished Pinot will pair well with a variety of dishes whatever the season: grilled ribeye steak, roasted duck, and venison.

A traditional Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass with a round bowl will convey this varietal’s profound aromatics and structural characteristics.

Serving and Cellar

Serve at cellar temperature 55 – 60 ̊F. We suggest opening and decanting before drinking.

In the Vineyard

Beginning with the 2016 vintage, Pierre Léon Pinot Noir is crafted from a specific parcel on our Estate planted to Dijon Clone 667, ranging in elevation from 400-600 feet.

Winemaker Hand

Hand-picked and sorted; 3 weeks on skins prior to barreling. Aged 20 months in 50% new French oak barrels
